I refer to following link to ask question about EOL of Rocky Linux 8

Major version' EOL is May 31, 2029, and frequent minor version updates.

In actual work, for the business continuity, is it possible to use the major version of Rocky Linux 8 as the benchmark and shut down for OS upgrade?

 End of Life and Unsupported Release/Version Policy:¶

A release or version of Rocky Linux is considered unsupported if:

• The Rocky Linux minor version has been superseded by another minor release or
• The Rocky Linux release is End of Life
