Writing to you as I have a generic query on installing Rocky OS.

We would like to install Rocky 9.4 OS on an “Intel® Xeon® Gold 5220R CPU @ 2.20 GHz based Cascade Lake – R” Server, as Bare Metal.

FYI This physical server is remote, and Intel based ‘Integrated BMC Web Console access’ is enabled.

Can you please help by clarifying below queries as I am first time trying to install Rocky OS and that too remote.

1. What is the preferred method of installation?
1. Install through uploading ‘Boot-ISO’ using the option “BMC web UI -> Virtual Media over HTML5”?
2. Web ISO using NFS

Would be very helpful to receive any Standard installation procedure of 9.4 OS on Bare Matel Server.
